We had the yard sale today and attendance was not what we had hoped. We made a little money, and the stuff that was left at the end of the day was delivered to Good Will. We want to thank Dan Swanson, Rick Cyr and Jean Locke for their help with the sale. We thank Shallowford Presbyterian for the use of their parking lot.

Danny Hovey spent the day in the basement fixing the cracked cross beams and sagging floor. Thank you, Danny, for this miracle you pulled off. We are most grateful.

Paul Harwood has the humidifier installed and working great. This will dramatically help with the mold problem in the house. We have a few more plumbing repairs and then the house will be dry. “Thanks” just doesn’t seem adequate to cover all you have done to help out.

Sunday is a day off for us, but Monday we will be clearing again. Hopefully, we will finish the house. We have three bedrooms and more crawl space to complete. We have some more to do in the back yard, but we are getting close to calling that one a wrap, too.

Kathy’s father had a stroke and is in the hospital in Ohio. I know Kathy wants to fly out to be with him, but he told her to stay and finish the job.

Mr. Coupland, I know you follow these updates. We are going to be really pushing next week so Kathleen can come home to help with your recovery. Best wishes for a speedy healing.
